Japan - November, 2003

I visited the lovely country of Japan for fall foliage season over Thanksgiving, 2003.  For a week I hung out with friends, practiced my Japanese, and took lots of pictures.  The weather was a tad rainy, so the light wasn't always entirely favorable, but I got lots of interesting photos.

The following 400 or so photos are essentially in sequential order, based on the things I did each day.  There are some loose themes, but time-based order allowed me to retain my sanity in generating the pages !  Some of the earlier pictures are about interesting things - the prettier pictures are further down.

The captions are often interesting and of course funny (!), but they are from memory,
so I'm sure folks will correct me where I've made mistakes.
