Asakusa


Asakusa is one of the oldest part of Tokyo, with traditional temples and lots of tourist stuff, especially around the Senso-ji temple shown  here.  Asakusa has also long been the entertainment district of Tokyo, though this has really shifted to the Shibuya and Shinjuku areas.

Here is me at the entrance - things tend to be a bit big here.
