Fireworks I
Tuesday was a national holiday and Nagano always holds firworks that evening - often in very cold weather ! The fireworks were gorgeous and ran for two hours !! They are each sponsored by a company or group, so there is a 30 second lull between each group as the sponsor is announced over loudspeakers - we watched from the main viewing grounds along the main river.
